Today I woke up with a dream that my cousin's grandmother would be passing away. This is the second time I've had this dream. And like with my own grandmother last year, if I get it twice in a row, the day I have it the second time, the person will die. And sure enough, around five this afternoon, she took her last breath. I was on my way to the hospital where everyone was at to say their final goodbyes. I never got to say it verbally but I did at least come to say goodbye.

So it being Christmas, I should be happy. But I'm quite sad. T__T Because today I found out my cousin's grandmother was taken off life support and probably won't make it through the night. She had surgery last month at the beginning and hadn't gotten out of ICU and just got progressively worse. And the sad thing was, I had a dream about her passing. I've had them before for my two grandmas and my grandpa and two weeks later (after I'd had the dream of each of them) they passed away. One I had when I was seven with my favorite grandma, the next for my grandpa back in 2001 a few days before 9/11 happened, and then with my other grandma last year in April. So I had a bad feeling of what was going to happen. But instead of two weeks, it's been about a month now. This was probably due to the fact that she's been hooked to machines to keep her alive. So this day pretty much sucked. And this coming Thursday will be her 79th birthday and I think 51st or 52nd wedding anniversary. If she happens to make it until then, that'll be nice. But I don't think she will. I'll miss her that's for certain since she was like another grandmother to me. I just hope she won't be in any pain as she passes.

So today I started my college class for massage therapy. It's quite interesting already. Just today going over the guidelines and some basics. Not too bad. I'm looking forward to the next nine months that I'll be doing the classes.

But damn our bags are heavy! We got like six books, two packs of flannel sheets for our tables (that we don't even get until our fifth month), two bottles for oil/lotion/gel and a holder to put a bottle in, and our bags to pile it all in. Plus an extra set of scrubs so we have two pairs. Damn who'd have thought all that would cost so much too! It was like $500 for all that. The bags are at least 35-40 pounds. And that's not all our books either! We get more on the 11th of January.

The worst part that my friend and I (since we're both taking it together) is the de-robing part. Even though our class is only five students (including us two) big, we're not really comfortable about that with others. And the other bad part is if there ever is a fire drill (or real fire), those that are getting massages and de-robed have to grab the sheets that'll be draped over them and go outside like that. They can't get dressed. Wow. Let's hope they never call a fire drill on us in the middle of winter (as it's very cold outside). Lol.

But overall, it looks like this is going to be fun.

Well today's just lovely....not. It's snowing outside pretty heavily. Not that I don't mind the snow once in a while but it's blizzard conditions. Can't see driving down the street very well either. Ugh. So I'm keeping inside where it's safe and warm.

Let's just hope it passes quickly and there isn't any more blizzards for the rest of this winter.
